Ohio: a little bit of everything
We have big cities and country plains. Conservatives and liberals. 90-degree summers, 10-degree winters. Hills and forests, beaches and fields. Gorgeous scenery and blight. Major corporate factories and Ma-n-Pa businesses. A little of this, a little of that.
Everywhere is Ohio because Ohio is Everywhere. In a less memeified sense, part of Ohio culture is the ability to fit in everywhere. Literally everywhere I go I meet people from Ohio, or who have family in Ohio, or who used to live there. And it's not necessarily an origin anyone boasts about but they're not ashamed of it either. Just happy to see another friendly face. Because Ohio is so much "a bit of this, a bit of that" we also find things that remind us of Ohio anywhere we go, and when people come to Ohio they find bits and pieces of the things they love from elsewhere.
